5x7 Invitation Assignment: the assignment instructions stated that I had to use two colors at the most, no more than 3 typefaces, no photography or illustration, and that alignment and proximity must have been utilized. I had to pick from a list of event types and include the event's name, who/what the event was for, time, location, and RSVP information. I opted to go with an easier event because this was my first-time using Adobe Illustrator. Additionally, I thought it would be best to limit myself to only two fonts, as well as two shades of green. I was hoping this would make the design less busy and make it simpler for me to manipulate/balance (this being my first assignment).
